Our Commitment to Sustainability, Environmental Stewardship, and Diversity
Sustainability and Diversity
At Asletts, we are committed to operating responsibly – for the environment, for the people we work with, and for the communities we serve. Our approach to sustainability and diversity is reflected not just in our policies, but in the practical steps we take on every project.
Our Environmental Commitments:
Transition to an All-Electric Fleet
One of our most significant steps towards reducing our environmental footprint is our transition to an all-electric vehicle fleet. Currently, 30% of our fleet is fully electric, and we are committed to increasing this as we work towards full electrification. By reducing our reliance on fossil fuels, we are contributing to lower greenhouse gas emissions and a cleaner environment for the communities in which we operate.
Responsible Waste Management
Responsible waste management is central to how we operate. We work exclusively with licensed waste disposal companies to ensure that all waste from our construction projects is handled in compliance with environmental regulations. Our
aim is to minimise waste at source, maximise recycling, and ensure that any disposal is carried out responsibly
Advanced Paint Cleaning Stations
In our day-to-day operations, we use Trivec paint cleaning stations to manage paint wastewater in an environmentally responsible way. These systems are capable of purifying wastewater from water-based paints, lacquers, adhesives, stains and inks. For projects where wastewater recycling is required, we also use the Trivec AS80-K, which allows for the recycling and reuse of wastewater, further reducing our
environmental impact.
Diversity at Asletts
We are proud to have built a diverse team in an industry that has historically lacked one. Over one third of our workforce are women – a genuine reflection of our commitment to inclusion, and a significant achievement in the construction sector. We believe that a diverse team brings a wider range of perspectives, skills and experiences – and that this makes us better at what we do.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone at Asletts has equal access to opportunities, development and progression, regardless of gender, background or circumstance. Supporting women in construction is something we take seriously – not as a statement, but as a practice. This includes providing access to professional development, creating clear pathways to leadership, and maintaining a workplace where every member of the team is valued and respected.
Our Policies
Our commitments in this area are underpinned by formal policy. Our Environmental Policy and Equality & Diversity Policy are available on request and reflect the standards we hold ourselves to across all projects and operations. If you would like to discuss our approach to sustainability or diversity as part of a tender or procurement process, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
